Chumuckla Springs RV Resort: Where History Flows and Time Slows

Nestled along the Escambia River, Chumuckla Springs RV Resort invites you to experience Florida’s forgotten past — with gated, riverside RV pads on 55 acres of healing mineral springs land. Stay for a day, a week, or a while.

Phase 1 is now open with limited 37 RV sites and 3 cabins, each one thoughtfully placed for peace, privacy, and connection to nature. These are the first and only sites being released for early guests, and they won’t last long.

If you’ve been waiting for a quieter kind of Florida getaway… now’s your chance to claim it.

Welcome to Chumuckla Springs RV Resort:

A private RV community on the Escambia River, designed for those who appreciate the beauty of a simpler time — and the chance to experience Florida’s forgotten past.

This is your opportunity to stay where the river winds, the air is clean, and the spring-fed waters of Mineral Springs still whisper stories from generations past (often referred to locally as “Mineral Springs” due to the area’s historic healing waters).

Chumuckla Springs RV Resort was built with one goal in mind: to restore the soul without sacrificing the essentials.

Here, you’ll find the kind of simple pleasures and thoughtful details that make you slow down and stay a while — whether you’re kayaking down the Escambia, relaxing by our lazy river-style pool, or just sipping coffee with the sunrise.

Each RV & cabin site includes:

  • Dedicated access to standard RV pads

  • RV pads accommodate 5th wheels, campers, and buses

  • Full sewer and water hookups

  • 30/50-amp electrical service

  • Concrete pads and paved roads

  • WiFi throughout the resort

  • Private, gated entry for you

  • Access to our full, on-site store

And while the world-famous mineral spring water still flows just steps away, so does the peace of knowing you’ve got everything you need right at home.

Historical black and white photograph of a man sitting in a vintage horse-drawn wagon advertising Rejijenga Dairy, which sells chamomile mineral water and fresh strawberries.

Long before highways and hashtags, Chumuckla’s mineral water was delivered by wagon — trusted for its purity, bottled for its promise.

This photo from the early 1900s shows R.F. Jernigan Dairy proudly sourcing from the springs that still flow today.

At Chumuckla Springs, we’re not just offering weekend getaways.

We’re offering something rarer: the chance to stay on historic land, beside healing mineral waters, in a private, gated resort unlike anything else in the Florida Panhandle.

Here’s how it works…

  • A person working at a desk with a laptop, smartphone, notebook, pen, a camera, sunglasses, a wooden clock, a globe, and a model airplane.

    1. Pick Your Perfect Spot

Choose from 37 full-hookup RV sites or 3 cabin sites — all nestled near the historic mineral springs. Whether you’re staying for a day, a week, or longer, every space is designed for peace, privacy, and a slower pace.

  • Aerial view of a park with winding roads, green lawns, trees, small buildings, and surrounding water.

    2. Reserve Your Stay

Book your RV site or cabin for a daily, weekly, or monthly stay. Each rental includes sewer, power, and water, with gated access and a community rooted in nature, history, and hospitality.

  • Elderly couple viewing a bus together, with the man showing affection by placing his arm around the woman's shoulders

    3. Settle In & Unplug

Chumuckla Springs RV Resort isn’t a tourist trap or noisy campground. It’s a quiet return to simpler living. A place to breathe deep, watch the river roll by, and reconnect with what matters most.

And with limited sites available, this is a first-come, first-served opportunity.

Stay where history runs deep and the pace runs slow.
